This cuff is derived from the inscription of a poesy ring probably made in Dublin in the 17th century engraved in period Gaelic, 'cuirle mo croide', 'pulse of my heart'. Gaelic poesys are relatively rare and therefore highly treasured, especially this one in which the passion of love is expressed so eloquently. Unfortunately, although the poesy was recorded, the original ring has now been lost. We have engraved the saying on a simple and modern cuff bracelet, making a perfect Valentine's or anniversary gift or perhaps, just because.
